Waqas has 20+ years of a very diverse experience in IT, from network administration to developing and managing applications to technical project management. He has a BSc in Civil Engineering, MSc in Computing & IT, and ILM Certificate in Leadership & Management and also has PRINCE2 Practitioner and DSDM Foundation qualifications. He also has training in Marketing through CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. He considers himself a student of business and IT systems and loves IT projects and applications development especially SQL, all flavours. He is the founder and main contributor of techZavia.
Rob works in Aston University as a Senior Business Analyst. He has over 22 years of IT, database and programming experience, nearly 10 of which have been in education. Ironically, although enjoying working at a University, Rob does not hold a degree. He does, however, have an ILM certificate in Leadership and Management, and is a Prince 2 qualified practitioner. Rob enjoys identifying and implementing solutions to business and process inefficiencies, and training and mentoring colleagues. In a previous life Rob was a radio presenter and DJ, and sometimes wishes he still was!
